Terms of Service

Article 1 (Application)

These Terms set out the conditions for providing GarageLog (the “Service”) and the rights and obligations between us and users regarding the use of the Service. They apply to all relationships between users and us concerning the use of the Service.

Article 2 (Definitions)

The terms used in these Terms are defined as follows.

  1. “Service” means the web application named GarageLog and related services.
  2. “User” means an individual or entity that uses the Service.
  3. “Registration Information” means information a user registers with the Service.
  4. “Content” means information a user posts or uploads to the Service.

Article 3 (Registration)

  1. Users register for the Service using a Google account.
  2. The Service may decline a registration request and is not obligated to disclose the reason.
  3. If a minor uses the Service, the consent of a parent or guardian is required.

Article 4 (Account Management)

  1. Users are responsible for managing their account information appropriately.
  2. Users are responsible for any damages arising from the use of their account information.
  3. If you discover unauthorized use by a third party, please notify us immediately.

Article 5 (Fees)

  1. The Service is currently provided free of charge.
  2. We may introduce paid plans in the future. If we do, the applicable fees, billing cycle, and conditions will be clearly presented before any purchase, and you will only be charged after your consent.

Article 6 (Prohibited Conduct)

Users must not engage in any of the following:

  1. Conduct that violates laws or public order and morals
  2. Conduct related to criminal activity
  3. Conduct that interferes with the operation of the Service
  4. Conduct that infringes the rights of other users or third parties
  5. Registering false information
  6. Unauthorized access or attempts thereof
  7. Reverse engineering of the Service
  8. Unauthorized use for commercial purposes

Article 7 (Intellectual Property)

  1. All intellectual property rights related to the Service belong to us.
  2. Intellectual property rights in content posted by a user belong to that user.
  3. Users grant us a non-exclusive license to the extent necessary to store, display, and deliver their content.

Article 8 (Disclaimer)

  1. The Service is provided “as is.”
  2. We do not warrant the completeness, accuracy, or usefulness of the Service.
  3. We are not responsible for disputes between users or between a user and a third party.
  4. We are not responsible for damages caused by force majeure such as natural disasters, war, or riots.

Article 9 (Changes, Suspension, and Termination of the Service)

  1. We may change the content of the Service without prior notice to users.
  2. We may temporarily suspend the Service due to maintenance or system failures.
  3. We may terminate the Service with one month's notice.

Article 10 (Suspension and Cancellation of Use)

We may suspend use of the Service or delete an account without prior notice if a user:

  1. Violates these Terms
  2. Provided false registration information
  3. Has not used the Service for six months or more
  4. Is otherwise deemed inappropriate by us

Article 11 (Governing Law and Jurisdiction)

These Terms are governed by the laws of Japan, and the Tokyo District Court shall be the court of exclusive jurisdiction of first instance for any disputes related to the Service.

Article 12 (Changes to These Terms)

We may change these Terms as necessary. The revised Terms take effect when posted on the Service.
